Why HBCU AI matters

AI will be built by everyone — or it will fail us all.

HBCUs produce nearly half of all Black STEM graduates and a quarter of Black STEM PhDs. Yet they receive a fraction of federal research dollars. HBCUAI exists to close that gap — surfacing every grant, program, partnership, and pipeline that moves Black AI leadership forward.
